now today george allen is going to be voting right here where i am now at washington mill elementary school in mount vernon shortly after the polls open at 6:00 a.m. then he'll be heading down to richmond to watch the returns come in and it'll likely be a late, nerve-wracking night for both candidates, but especially allen because in 2006 allen lost the race for this very senate seat by less than 9,000 votes. you know he would hate to have that happen again, but it's going to be close. the former governor is up against another former governor, democrat tim kaine. this morning he too will be leading by example, casting his vote in richmond. and, you know, kaine's last few campaign stops have been all about getting out the vote and reminding virginians about the state's new voter identification law. because as we've been saying all morning, every last vote is going to count in this race. so, remember, when you come out to vote, be sure to bring your valid form of i.d., polls open in virginia starting at 6:00 a.m., in just under a half an hour. and, look, there is already a line forming
